Milan Kertsman, an artist and designer behind Milanka Studio grew up in Moscow and currently lives and works in Tel Aviv.
Milan studied classical painting and drawing under the tutelage of the renown Russian artist Ilya Danshin. At the age of 17, Milan already worked as an assistant to the lead animator at “Soyuzmultfilm” (the Russian version of Walt Disney). After moving to Israel in 1991, Milan went on to study Graphic Design at Avni Design College.
Between 1995 - 1999 Milan was as a lead designer at Kodkod, the Israel's leading Table Top Games maker (well known internationally for its Rummikub game). At Kodkod, Milan was instrumental in designing a number of best selling games.
Between 1999-2008 Milan worked as a Designer and, later, the Lead Designer at Tangram Design Studio, with the primary focus on packaging design. Milan has designed many of the product lines for some of the Israel's leading companies (Superfarm, Careline, ... just to name a few). Today, literally millions of Israelis buy products designed by Milan every day – from perfume, to pacifiers.
Milan has started her own studio in 2008 and since, managed to attract many new clients. Milan is highly professional, pays a great deal of attention to detail and always makes sure the final product meets or exceeds clients' requirements.
Most importantly – Milan believes that cooperation, friendship and professional approach to work make the high-horsed “know-it-all” arrogance unnecessary. So, not only will you get your design on time and done very well, you'll also get a smile.
